Dr. Timothy Mann, VMD, CVA

Dr. Mann is a native New Yorker who’s lived all over the globe exploring his passions. He has worked on a large number of animals big and small. These escapades include birthing 100 sheep a day in the ranges of Idaho, doing lameness exams on horses in Ireland, spaying and neutering dogs on native American reservations in Utah, examining cows in Cuba, cleaning out ear mites in Honduras, providing environmental enrichment to sloths at the zoo and keeping your best friends healthy in New York City.

Dr. Mann’s wide range of activities and commonalities in medicine sparked an interest in holistic treatments. This spark continued with the certification in veterinary acupuncture awarded by the Chi Institute as well as an understanding of various herbal and glandular therapies which can be used in addition to conventional western medicine to make sure you and your best friend will be happy and healthy for a long time.

Dr Silverberg brings over 35 years of small animal veterinary clinical experience to his new position at Springfield Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic. When not helping animals and their people, he enjoys painting, playing guitar and hiking.

Dr. John C. Farhy, DVM

Dr. Farhy graduated with a veterinary degree from Kansas University in 1968. He went on to join the US Army in the veterinary corps and served as a captain during the Vietnam war. I would highly recommend going here for all of your veterinary needs. I have taken 10 of my foster dogs here and a few cats. They do a great job and really care about the animals.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Mann and his staff. My dog went in because she was not eating and Dr. Mann quickly discovered that she had a massive mass on her spleen. He kept her for the day and preformed a splenectomy that day effectively saving her life. I would like to thank Dr. Mann, Rita and Brian for taking the best care of my girl and giving her a healthy future!

I can't not thank you Dr. Mann for the gracious service we received. My dog (Noah/Golden - 14 years old) woke up in distress and was not able to walk. We called Dr. Mann and he waited for us to get to the office with his staff. My baby went to doggie heaven in a loving and tranquil environment. Dr. Mann was kind and loving and it made the process so peaceful. I can't thank them enough.

I highly recommend this Veterinary hospital for all your pet needs. The staff could not be more empathetic and so caring for your pet. Dr Timothy Mann is the best. We found out last night that our 13 year old Shih Tsu had a very large tumor on his spleen that had ruptured. Today Dr Mann removed the tumor & gave us more time with our very much loved George Henry
