Timothy Mann, VMD, CVA

Native New Yorker and Chi Institute-certified veterinary acupuncturist who blends holistic and conventional medicine.

Dr. Mann is a native New Yorker who's lived all over the globe exploring his passions. He has worked on a large number of animals big and small. These escapades include birthing 100 sheep a day in the ranges of Idaho, doing lameness exams on horses in Ireland, spaying and neutering dogs on native American reservations in Utah, examining cows in Cuba, cleaning out ear mites in Honduras, providing environmental enrichment to sloths at the zoo and keeping your best friends healthy in New York City. Dr. Mann's wide range of activities and commonalities in medicine sparked an interest in holistic treatments. This spark continued with the certification in veterinary acupuncture awarded by the Chi Institute as well as an understanding of various herbal and glandular therapies which can be used in addition to conventional western medicine to make sure you and your best friend will be happy and healthy for a long time.

Where We're Headed

We're carrying a Springfield practice that dates back to 1925 into its next century, adding options like stem cell therapy and acupuncture while keeping the neighborhood feel families have come back to for generations.

How We Care For Your Pet

Every pet gets a plan built around them, from an individualized vaccine schedule to a choice of holistic or conventional treatment. We run bloodwork in our own lab, and we take the time to explain what we find and what your options are.

About Our Team

Dr. Mann brings a wide range of experience. He's a Chi Institute-certified veterinary acupuncturist who has cared for animals from the sheep ranges of Idaho to New York City, and he took over the hospital on July 22, 2020. When you visit, expect a team that knows your pet as an individual and explains your options in plain terms.

Everyone here is considered a leader and an integral member of the health care team, and it's our job to make your visit a positive one so that both you and your pet are at ease. Along with veterinary knowledge and training, our team is selected for kindness, compassion, patience, professionalism, integrity and agility.
